A major midstream company constructing a petrochemical facility north of Edmonton required additional senior HSE capacity to support a rapidly evolving construction environment. Complex contractor interfaces, high-risk field activities, commissioning, and an upcoming prime contractor transition placed significant demands on the client’s HSE team. To maintain strong operational safety performance, the client needed experienced HSE personnel who could integrate quickly, support field-level execution, and uphold the expectations of the HSE management system.

Objectives & Success Criteria

Lessons Learned /Challenges Overcome

A key lesson learned was that supplementing client teams with experienced field HSE support allows leadership to concentrate on major project milestones without compromising safety performance.
