PMO was founded in 2005 when Kameron Jones and Paul Raynor recognized a need for a consultancy that could provide dedicated experts in risk management.
With over 15 years of progressive experience and a reputation for integrity in all we do, we have now grown into 8 divisions, plus training services, each working together to protect our clients in every aspect of risk management. Paul Aberle has over 20 years of experience in software and hardware product development across multiple industries, with a focus on health and safety solutions. He co-founded and served as CTO of a safety software startup, where he helped client bases including small businesses up to large corporations. Paul is experienced in building and managing software development teams, working closely with clients to ensure that solutions align with their needs. He has a strong background in identifying market requirements and managing projects from early development through to completion. In addition to his work in software development, Paul has experience deploying health and safety software and services to Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) facilities in Canada. His work in this area has involved addressing the specific safety and compliance requirements of the LNG sector, ensuring that solutions are both practical and effective in real-world applications. Steven is a senior leader with a passion for health and safety and more than 25 years of experience in industrial hygiene, health, occupational and process safety management and leadership in construction and operations roles in the oil, gas, and chemical industries. As an HSSE expert, he has successfully led the implementation of effective HSE management strategies and systems for heavy industry construction projects and oil and gas operations through strategic vision and effective collaboration.

Marliese began her journey into finance and accounting at the University of Alberta, studying Commerce. She joined the PMO team in 2018 to lead the finance department. Marliese is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day accounting and finance activity within PMO. She has over fifteen years of experience in finance, obtaining her designation in 2010. Her passion for travel and finance has taken her across the globe, allowing her first-hand experience with several diverse markets. Before joining PMO, Marliese held finance positions in several industries including: Oil and Gas, Automotive Manufacturing, Utilities, and Property Management.

Robert began his career in civil construction in the Canadian Oil and Gas industry after graduating with a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Victoria. Originally a specialist in Environmental Management for Major Construction projects, Robert has represented PMO in Canada, the US, and Africa in all aspects of HSE — both corporately and at the field level. Robert strives to ensure the direction and solutions provided to PMO's clients balance practicality, budgets, scheduling, and performance expectations. He now focuses primarily on the operations of the company as well as domestic and international business development.

Brittany has been a dedicated member of PMO Global Services since 2010, starting her career in the Process Safety Engineering Group. Over the past decade, she has provided invaluable safety engineering expertise to key clients, specializing in risk identification, analysis, and mitigation. Brittany has played a pivotal role in developing and standardizing internal processes within PMO’s engineering group, ensuring consistent and efficient project execution. Her leadership has been instrumental in managing the operations of all engineering projects and overseeing the engineering team.
